At first, I didn’t realize I was disappearing.
I thought I was just adjusting. Becoming a mom. Figuring it out as I went. But something felt off.
I was there. Doing all the things. And yet…I didn’t feel fully like me. At times, I felt like a failing milk factorymore than a person.
I knew how I wanted to show up as a mom…But I didn’t know what that actually looked like in the moment, or how to do that in real life.

All while slipping away inside.
